American PPH03 (PPH03 Hemorrhoidal Stapler)

To give you less postoperative pain and faster recovery, we use American PPH03 (PPH03 Hemorrhoidal Stapler). PPH has a unique advantage over traditional techniques because the procedure is performed above the dentate line inside the anal canal, which doesn’t affect directly to nerve endings. The PPH device we use has two staggered rows of titanium staples of 33mm diameter size, which is applied in the anal canal for transection and resection of internal tissue.

Japanese HAL

Hemorrhoidal Artery Ligation (HAL)

Hemorrhoidal Artery Ligation (HAL) is minimally invasive alternatives to conventional hemorrhoidectomy that show the prolonged relief in patients with the piles. The ligations serve to reduce the arterial blood supply, causing the hemorrhoidal cushions to shrink back to standard size. At Pooja Surgical Hospital, we offer individual, holistic and innovative approaches coupled with the high intensity of the therapies.

German IRC (Infrared Coagulator)

German IRC (Infrared Coagulator)

IRC uses the direct application of heat to induce coagulation and fibrosis in the submucosal layer. The Precision Endoscopic Infrared Coagulator (Precision Endoscopic Technologies, Sturbridge, Mass) uses a single-use, 3.2-mm outer diameter, 300 cm deep flexible fiberoptic probe that is transferred through an endoscope channel. The distal tip of the probe is located in contact with the haemorrhoid tissue, ideally at the pedicle of haemorrhoids and short 1- to 5-second bursts of infrared radiation are passed to by depressing a foot pedal.

IRC is considered as a safe, painless and straightforward OPD procedure for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease.

Italian THD

Italian THD

The transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialization (THD) Doppler method is a minimally invasive procedure to treat symptomatic haemorrhoids. The study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and the satisfaction of patients in a large series treated with THD and to review the relevant literature.

Our results show that the THD Doppler system is safe and effective in patients with the hemorrhoidal disease and associated with low morbidity and recurrence rates and a high rate percentage of treatment success.

RFC (Radiofrequency cautery)

RFC (Radiofrequency cautery)

At Pooja Surgical Hospital, we use RFC for clinical and surgical practice. The treatment of haemorrhoids has undergone significant changes after the introduction of new techniques during the last few years. Radiofrequency Coagulation is a new approach for treating grade I and II haemorrhoids. In this procedure, the hemorrhoidal tissue is coagulated by high-frequency radio waves.
